Creating a default configuration
You can save a default configuration for any window that supports configurations by doing the following:
- Set up the window the way you want it to be when you use the default configuration for that window.
- Choose the command from the menu.
Using a default configuration
You can load a window’s default configuration with the command. If you’ve never saved a configuration to be used as the default for the current window, File Buddy will use a “factory default” configuration.
Loading a default configuration automatically
- New List windows will open with the current List window default configuration.
- You can set a preference in the Preferences window’s Find Window panel to always open the Find window with its default configuration.
- All other windows open configured to the last settings used in that window.
